Who We Work With
We work with organizations throughout the medical technology value chain. Hospitals, clinics, surgical departments and healthcare providers may come to us to source instruments for their specialties. Medical device companies, manufacturers and product developers can seek support with a concept, design refinement, technical evaluation, product development or access to European production partners. Distributors and commercial partners may be looking for support with sourcing and supplying surgical instruments. We welcome both established requirements and early-stage ideas that need to be shaped into a product proposal.
How We Work
We begin by understanding the customer’s application and requirements. Then we help identify an appropriate route, coordinate relevant specialist capabilities and support the project through the necessary stages. Whether a customer needs to source an instrument, improve an existing design or explore a new product, we work to keep communication clear and the next steps practical.
Our European Network
Based in Ravensburg, iMED combines access to manufacturing partners in southern Germany with relationships across Europe. Our role is to connect clinical or commercial needs with suitable expertise, suppliers and production resources. By bringing these elements together, we help customers pursue surgical instrument solutions that fit their intended use, technical requirements and market context.
